Words are not finding me this week. I am just feeling so present in my world. Perhaps these images express the gratefulness my heart is beating to.
{the darling blonde girl is our next door neighbor. we joke about cedar someday serenading her at her upstairs window. but seriously…their cuteness together is melt worthy}

I love that you share these wonderful pictures of your blessed family life. I look at your child and think about how much I miss my children at that age. Now that my baby is 19 and engaged to married and my son is soon to be 23 and off in the world doing his own thing all I can say is savior every single second with that precious baby boy there. They grow up so darn fast and in a blink of an eye they are off in the world living out their own dreams. Thank-you for sharing this tiny piece of your life. It’s encouraging and brings me to tears to know that others get to experience the blessing of a beautiful child. XOXO
PS…Share these yummy fries Susannah is talking about.

Oh my……
August 16, 2012
I am teary-eyed looking through these. The first picture of Cedar with the deer looks like it’s out of a very old, very worn, very loved book of children’s fairy tales. And he is SO precious with your neighbor girl. Oh my.
What strikes me most of all — certainly most in the picture of Cedar and Boho Boy, but really all over the place — is how LOVED Cedar is. It beats through so many pictures, even if it’s not as overt as the one where he’s resting on Boho Boy.
He is so very, very loved … and given space and freedom to be who he is … and yet surrounded so thickly in love … an all-too-rare (in my experience) and beautiful thing to see.
