chairs inside and in front of mole restaurant, downtown victoria, b.c.
*gentle*vibrant*abundant*inspiring*beautiful*
Saw these during our trip to Victoria last week. And it moved me so. If we were to all make an affirmation chair for ourselves, how beautiful would that be? What would your chair say?

Gorgeous idea! I would sit in my “awesome” chair, just for one moment, and believe that even if the laundry is not done, that the floor is invaded by a legion of dust bunny, even if my son is having fun ripping paper all over the floors and that my daughter wants to play ” evil witch against snow white”.again. for the gazillion time, I would believe that I am awesome

Just love your blog. Found it a few weeks ago when I was looking for dread inspiration.
Love these chairs… amazing! Mine would say ‘gratitude’!
November 30, 2011
mine would say ‘beloved’ and it’d have a seatbelt of sorts on it, to hold me in when resting in that truth would get uncomfortable and i’d want to bolt out of it, in favor of other less affirming words (fear, insecurity, doubt, etc) love. xoxo

Oh! these are gorgeous….I think I’m going to do this. What a wonderful idea, thanks for sharing it! I think mine would say “humble” or “present” because I need to be more humble towards others and “present” because I tend to get too anxious about the future.

Mine would say Enough. Meaning: I am enough. I do enough. This is enough. It would also mean: Enough to criticism, self-doubt and self-judgment.
